Gym Owner? Get Ready for Re-opening!

Cardio: Check all of your treadmills, cross-trainers, bikes and rowers. 

  • Dead batteries are common, especially after a long time after use.
  • Now could be the time to get things like torn upholstery or worn bike seats replaced.

Strength: check to see if all mechanics are still working correctly and efficiently- such as cables, weight stoppers and undamaged weight pins.

Make sure you have disinfectant and anti-bacterial wipes readily available in various locations in the gym.

Make sure all membership details are in order and correct, including the programming to re-activate returning memberships.

When the time comes, you don’t want your members wondering when you’re opening back up, or contacting you for details. 

Make sure it’s posted EVERYWHERE- the gym’s social media accounts and website. 

Encourage members or staff to re-post these for some free exposure, it may even lead to a couple of join up sales. 

Opening up could be a good time to capatalise on nudging people to join the gym, whether it was a long term desire, or the people who have had the self realisation to prioritise their health during this period.
