The Matrix Versa Diverging Seated Row is a strength training machine designed to target the muscles of the upper back, including the rhomboids, trapezius, and latissimus dorsi, as well as the rear deltoids and biceps. The machine features a seated position with a chest pad for support and handles that move in a diverging, or outward, path during the rowing motion.
Users sit on the machine with their chest against the pad and feet firmly planted on the footrests. They grasp the handles with an overhand grip and pull them back toward their torso, squeezing their shoulder blades together. The handles’ diverging path ensures a natural range of motion that mimics the body’s anatomical movement, effectively engaging the targeted muscles.
